London, United Kingdom
Amirun started her career by making and trading dolls clothes from the age of 7 and by the age of 11 was making clothes for herself, family and friends.
She attributes her love for fashion and fashion design to her parents who were outworkers. They taught her how to cut and hand stitch fabrics. To this day Amirun’s mother, who is now 60, still hand stitches some of her clothes.
Amirun’s work can now be seen in a classic, premium womenswear label with pieces that can be worn across multiple seasons, which are designed by her and manufactured in London.
The current collection is created from an appreciation of the beauty of a moment “Appreciating a beautiful winter landscape, with snow on the ground, and the bare trees creating patterns against the low grey sky. Memories of the beautiful autumnal colours of a season gone by fade in and out whilst sitting by the warmth of an open fire, consumed by the contrast of the two scenes.”
AW19 Colour Pop is created with strong silhouettes to exude femininity, confidence and strength. With dark blacks and greys against the bright warm bold orange and reds, to get you smiling before you step out, ready for your challenges on a beautiful autumnal morning or a cold winter day. Most of the garments are available in the four core colours of the Collection, so you decide what colour will make you feel strong, confident and empowered.
